This month we return to Charlie and Sam’s wedding, a gorgeous couple who chose equally gorgeous flowers!
Charlie’s childhood home is in the village of Heighington, right next to St Michaels Church where the couple were married on a slightly damp day at the beginning of May.
Charlie and Sam wanted a natural look to their flowers, while keeping the colours neutral with a splash of blush pink. The mix of flowers we decided on were: Ivory peonies, white lisianthus, green lisianthus, ivory astrantia, gypsophilia, blush pink spray roses, thlaspi and baby blue eucalyptus.
The guys wore buttonholes to match the neutral theme, with Sam’s being slightly different in a shade of green lisianthus instead of ivory.
The wedding breakfast was at Crathorne Hall in the Leven Room. Charlie chose candelabra with a posy of flowers around the bottom for the tables, and she placed her bridal bouquets along the top table – a great little trick to make the most of your bouquets! In the Leven room there is a beautiful fireplace that we covered in flowers that set an amazing floral background for the top table.
